Who we are
Kankode Labs is the trading name of a sole trader based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. It is not a registered company. Kankode Labs is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Contact: hello@kankodelabs.com.
What we collect
This website has no accounts or analytics. We receive personal information when you use the contact form or contact us by email or phone. Through the form we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the service you’re interested in, and your message. By email or phone it’s typically your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your project.
How we use it and why
We use it to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to take steps toward and deliver a contract. Our legal bases are legitimate interests (responding to enquiries) and, once you ask for a quote or work, steps before and under a contract.
Who else sees it
- Contact form: form details are processed by Web3Forms, which delivers your enquiry to us by email.
- Email: our email is hosted by Google, which processes messages you send us.
- Website hosting: this site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to serve and secure the site.
- Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
We don’t sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries (including contact form submissions) for as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, then delete them. Client records are kept as long as the law and our accounts require.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@kankodelabs.com and we’ll respond.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change and show the date above.
